Warriors Win the NBA Western Conference Finals 2017

Its the Golden State Warriors winning the Western Conference Finals over San Antonio Spurs 129-115.  Its a completion of a 12 game sweep post season for the Warriors giving them the only team in the NBA to do so.  Also, they are the only NBA to make a sweep of all off season 7 game series in one season.  Another milestone is Stephen Curry passing 5th place Kobe Bryant in the most number of three points shot made in post season.

The Warriors led most of the way with Stephen Curry leading the pack with 36 points,  followed by Durant with 29 and D. Green with 16.  It was a phenomenal win for the Warriors as they win the Western Conference Finals three years in a row.

It was a balanced scoring for the San Antonio Spurs who hanged on till the end.  During the third quarter, Warriors led as much as 22 but then the Spurs narrowed it down to 10.  However this was the last comeback they made as the Warriors pounded them back to eventually lead the game till the fourth quarter.  The Spurs gallant effort was lead by Anderson with 20 points, followed by Ginobili with 15, and Gasol and Mills both with 14 a piece.  This might be Manu Ginobili's last game as he hits 40 years of age come July, so the crowd chanted "Manu Manu Manu" when he was pulled out from the game 2:25 minutes remaining in the game.  What a send off given by the San Antonio Crowd.

With the Western Conference Finals wrapped up, we now await the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics.  Where the Cavaliers have a one game advantage in their series 2-1.  Game 4 will still be in Cleveland Wednesday Morning Manila Time.
